At RTP we firmly believe...

meaghan

evan

Hey there, friends! I'm Meaghan (she/ her), the owner of RTP and main woman behind the biz. I live in the beautiful little state of Rhode Island with my husband and second shooter, Evan (he/ him), and our sweet rescue pups, Arya (she/her) and Ginny (she/her). When we're not photoraphing your wedding, you'll find us frequenting breweries and foodie spots around Providence, RI, speaking primarily in movie quotes, puns, and sarcasm or off on another adventure. If you don't take life too seriously, are planning an epic non traditional celebration of your love and adore filmy photography with a little grain and a whole lotta personality, let's be friends and work together!

With over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, I've seen it all and understand the desire for something different.

fun facts

Meaghan is queer AF and Evan has some serious bi wife energy

We both have an eclectic taste in music, have a playlist for every occasion, a collection of over 1000 vinyl records, and love seeing live shows together

Evan makes some of the best brekkie sandos evah. He swears that we should open a late night breakfast joint someday

Meaghan has an obsession with french fries and thinks that air fryers are the best kitchen appliance to be invented since refrigerators (parmesan truffle fries FTW!)

We are unashamed Disney adults and sometimes vlog our trips together for YouTube (look us up @therhodetrippers)

Evan has been in 4 bands throughout his life as a singer, guitarist, and most recently a drummer/ backup vocalist

it’s always Halloween in our soul 🎃

We love road trips (duh!) - ask us about the time that we drove for 24 hours straight in a blizzard - 10/10 do NOT recommend, but it makes for one hell of a story

Yep, we were that couple looking for a nontraditional wedding and struggled to find a venue and vendors who understood our vision. In the end, we got what we wanted, but it took years of planning and advocating (and several very detailed Google docs) to get it. *Click here to read all about how we crafted a ceremony that was unique to us!*

We don't want anyone else to feel that way. We're here to support you, give you tips and advice, and encourage you to have the wedding day you really want with photos that accurately reflect it.

We know what it's like to feel misunderstood by the wedding industry...

  • You're a queer and/ or non-traditional couple looking for a wedding experience that's a true reflection of you
  • You're a bit weird and quirky, but like in a cool way, obviously
  • You love color!
  • You're into fashion, film, and vintage/retro vibes
  • You believe that: all bodies are beautiful, love is love and Black Lives Matter.
  • You have an appreciation for all of the little personal touches that make up your wedding day
  • You're absolutely obsessed with your animals

(if any of these apply you to, we're gonna be best friends)

Now that you know a bit about us, let's talk about you!

- Catilin + Arya

"It was extremely important to me to find vendors who were queer/queer friendly and body positive, and Meaghan checked off both boxes in spades. My wife and I both have huge body insecurities and are deeply self-conscious of photos-but Meaghan made us both feel so beautiful. I was never even aware of the parts of myself I am usually hyper aware of because Meaghan and Evan both made us feel so comfortable. We were able to laugh and feel every emotion without once worrying about how we would look in the photos...

It's so heartwarming to look back and see how happy we and our guests look. And my wife and I both couldn’t have asked for more stunning photos of ourselves."
